This project is an idea I've had in the back of my mind for years of trying to mutate a song through doing a series of remixes, with each new mix being the basis for the next one. It didn't quite go to plan, largely because I was too loose and arbitrary in how I approached the remixes. The lyrics are a bit of jolly nihilism and may upset science-y sorts with my shoddy grasp of the physics involved.

The pseudo-"female" vocals occurred cos I felt like my vocals were sounding a bit dull, so I tried pitch-shifting them to create some interesting harmonics, and happened to try one of them at one octave higher and it just sounded immediately much better - also helped it cut through the mix easier too, so I decided to run with it.

And speaking of the mix, it's possibly a bit flawed as one of my monitors died just as I was coming to do the final mix-down, so I ended up having to do it in mono and hope for the best.
