This EP is, I suppose, about me edging towards being middle-aged and trying to look back on childhood without the rose-tinted glasses. I kind of hated being young at the time, and I'm not inclined to idealise it in hindsight. I'm much happier as an adult and I despise this broad cultural tendency to want to wallow in nostalgia.

At a technical level, this EP was a bit of an experiment for me as the entire thing was made from scratch using only the basic synth waveforms (sine, square, sawtooth, triangle and noise) and Renoise's native FX.

Written between 2nd August - 8th September 2017. Home-made in Sunderland.
